Dr. Scott Anderson grew up in Dothan, Alabama and graduated from Cottonwood Highschool. He worked at his family's full service gas station changing oil, pumping gas and fixing tires. He started undergrad in 1995 and then graduated from the University of Alabama at Birmingham with a Bachelors of Science degree in 1999. He then started Dental school in 2000 at the UAB School of Dentistry. Serving as class President and Vice President while in dental school. After his freshman year of dental school Dr. Anderson did research in the field of dental materials and presented his findings at the International Association of Dental Research convention in San Diego representing UAB SOD. In his Junior year he was awarded the United States Air Force Health Profession Scholarship. After graduation he was commissioned as a Captain and served 3 years as a dental officer at Keesler Air Force Base Biloxi, Mississippi. He was awarded Dental officer of the year in 2006. After completion of his commission in 2007 he founded Anderson Dental in Alabaster, Alabama. Dr. Anderson a member of the ADA, Alabama Dental Association and The Birmingham District Dental Society. He is married with four children and sometimes his beautiful wife is helping out at the office or you may see one of their children visiting. He enjoys spending time with his family at the beach, golfing and 'Living The Dream'. Dr. Anderson is a passionate down to earth practitioner that cares about serving the Shelby county community by offering a modern state of the art facility and a safe, welcoming enviroment while treating a wide variety of dental needs. Jamie was born and raised right here in Alabaster. She graduated from Thompson Highschool in 2008 and then went on to complete the Alabama Dental Hygiene Program in 2010. She is married to her high school sweetheart and they have 2 children. They serve as Music Ministers at their Church. Jamie has been in dentistry since she was 17 years old. We have had the pleasure of her being a part of our team for over 10 years.
Allison is originally from Prattville, Al. She has been an Alabaster resident for 24 years. She and her husband have been married for 25 years and have two children. She has been in dentistry for 16 years and with Dr. Anderson at Anderson Dental for the majority of that time. Her smile is the first thing you will see when you walk through the door at our office. She wears many hats, she does it all!
